Hi there!
I am a well-travelled creative who has worked in Asia, Europe and North America in wide range of topics and setups from big cooperations and ventures to design consultancies over the past 18+ years of which 10+ years have been in the healthcare domain at Philips Healthcare and McKinsey Design (previously known Ergonomidesign/Veryday). I have a masters degree in Advanced Product Design from Umeå Institute of Design and over the years my role has spanned across being a project lead bridging between design teams and businesses as well as being a hands-on designer conducting user research, developing concepts, prototyping, testing and iterating. Working in a complex and intricate healthcare domain taught me to be an agile designer who is always learning and hacking new ways to apply different tools throughout the design process. I have joined Playful Design, Stockholm in February, 2021, building and managing Health-tech accounts while also supporting Volvo Construction Equipment’s electrification journey.
As a designer I love being in the kitchen and believe that designing harmonious and relevant user experiences requires a deep empathy with the needs of people and deliberate iteration on ideas to address those needs. As a design lead, I believe in taking responsibilities for others, listening before talking and genuine humility while working within a team.
Recently, I have been part of several initiatives to explore the role of design in a more sustainable future where design can play a crucial role to adapt climate solutions in our lives in order to mitigate the climate crisis. I strongly believe that a systemic, rather than reactive, approach in the way we do our businesses and in our lives will bring the real change and it all starts with our individual choices and lifestyles.
